Huong Tran

Ms Huong Tran is the founder and member of AiiP's Executive Board, a leading expert on Intellectual Property in Vietnam. In the 4.0 era, Huong’s resilience has allowed her to embark on structuring a professional organisation in the field of intellectual property in readiness for the adoption of the 4.0 technology revolution.

Before establishing AiiP, Huong held appointments as senior appraiser of the National Office of Intellectual Property. With 11 years of experience and directly appraised tens of thousands of Vietnamese and international trademark applications, Huong is also an expert of Multrap 3 projects and is project leader of Intellectual Property in the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and Europe (EUFTA), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

Huong consults for many large domestic and foreign corporations such as KDC (KIDO), VinaGame (VNG), Tobacco Corporation, Men's Vodka, Vietnam Airlines and major universities in Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City National University .Ho Chi Minh City, Ton Duc Thang University, Hutech University, University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi Medical University.

Huong is a Startups and Investment Fund friendly legal expert. She has successfully connected a number of potential Startups with large investment funds in the region and the world.

Huong is also a Certified Mediator of the British Center for Effective Mediation (CEDR) and Deputy Head of the External Relations Department of the Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC), one of the most prestigious international trade centers in Vietnam. (VICMC), is Vietnam's largest commercial mediator with more than 60 mediators who are experts, leading lawyers in Vietnam and internationally.
